You will be responsible for managing daily warehouse activities, including inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping, and receiving, while upholding the highest standards of productivity and safety. Key responsibilities include supervising and mentoring warehouse staff, optimizing workflows, managing resources effectively, and ensuring strict compliance with all safety regulations, including the mandatory use of PPE. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct the daily activities of the warehouse team.
- Ensure accurate and efficient processing of all inbound and outbound shipments.
- Manage inventory control processes, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Implement and enforce all safety policies and procedures, ensuring proper use of PPE.
- Train and develop warehouse staff, fostering a culture of safety and efficiency.
- Monitor warehouse performance and implement improvements to optimize operations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure warehouse environment.
- Manage equipment maintenance and ensure operational readiness.
- Collaborate with management and other departments to meet organizational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a relevant field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, and supply chain management.
- Strong leadership, team-building, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, as needed.
- Commitment to upholding stringent safety standards and ensuring PPE usage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
