Join our state-of-the-art distribution center in Orlando, Florida, as a Distribution Center Associate! This role is crucial for the seamless flow of goods and the efficient operation of our logistics network. You will be involved in a wide range of activities, including receiving and processing incoming shipments, accurately picking and packing orders, stocking inventory, and ensuring the overall cleanliness and safety of the warehouse. We are looking for dedicated individuals who are detail-oriented, possess a strong work ethic, and can thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. Experience with material handling equipment is a plus. Your role is vital in ensuring timely delivery of products to our customers and maintaining the integrity of our inventory. Safety is paramount; therefore, all associates must adhere to company safety policies and utilize appropriate PPE.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify inbound shipments accurately.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment with precision.
- Stock and organize inventory within the distribution center.
- Operate pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment safely.
- Perform regular inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure data accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and guidelines.
- Wear all required PPE consistently.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and logistics.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics role is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Willingness to learn and operate various warehouse equipment.
- Understanding of warehouse safety standards and the necessity of PPE.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and logistics principles.
