Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist to join our growing team in San Diego, California. This role is essential for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for monitoring stock levels, conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing strategies to improve inventory accuracy. You will play a vital part in our logistics and supply chain operations, ensuring that our product availability meets customer demand. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures.
  • Monitor stock levels and identify items needing replenishment or disposition.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Properly use all required PPE.
  • Assist with receiving and shipping processes as needed to verify inventory.
  • Support the logistics team in optimizing warehouse layout and product placement.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory control, warehousing, or logistics.
  • Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional lifting up to 40 lbs.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with supply chain and logistics principles.
