Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders using pick lists or scanners.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order details.
- Pack items securely and efficiently using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Label packages for shipment according to carrier guidelines and company standards.
- Conduct quality checks on outgoing orders before they are dispatched.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company policies, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory control tasks, such as cycle counts, as needed.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet daily order fulfillment targets.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment and tools safely.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Prior experience in a warehouse, picking, packing, or logistics role is advantageous.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capacity for regular lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance expectations.
- Good manual dexterity and coordination.
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Team player with effective communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual attendance is essential.
