Job Summary:
We are seeking motivated Distribution Center Associates to join our large-scale operations in Chicago, Illinois. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient flow of goods through our distribution center. Responsibilities include receiving, inspecting, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping products. Accuracy and speed are key to success in this position, as you will be working with a high volume of items. This role is critical for our logistics network, requiring a commitment to operational excellence and safety. You will be trained on various aspects of warehouse operations and expected to contribute positively to team efforts. We maintain a strong focus on safety, mandating the use of appropriate PPE and adherence to all safety regulations. Frequent lifting and physical exertion are part of the daily routine.
Responsibilities:
  • Process incoming shipments, verify quantities and quality of goods.
  • Stock shelves and storage locations accurately.
  • Pick and pack customer orders with precision.
  • Prepare shipments for delivery, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
  • Operate material handling equipment safely (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts if certified).
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Participate in inventory management and cycle counts.
  • Adhere to all company safety protocols and wear designated PPE.
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency and success of the logistics operations.

Qualifications:
  • Previous distribution center or warehouse experience is highly desirable.
  • Ability to perform lifting tasks up to 60 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for long periods.
  • Team-oriented with good interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of safety procedures and willingness to follow them.
  • Open to working flexible shifts including nights and weekends if required.
