Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Technician to maintain and operate our warehouse equipment and systems in Atlanta, Georgia. This position requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, Safety protocols, and the efficient flow of goods within a Logistics environment. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring that all machinery operates reliably and safely. Your expertise will be crucial in minimizing downtime and optimizing our warehouse operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on warehouse machinery, including forklifts, conveyor systems, and automated equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues with warehouse equipment.
  • Ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently, adhering to manufacturer specifications and company Safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment status.
  • Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and emergency repair needs.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of all tools and equipment.
  • Train warehouse personnel on the safe operation of equipment and adherence to Safety protocols.
  • Ensure all personnel utilize appropriate PPE when working with or around machinery.
  • Assist in the implementation of new equipment and systems to improve Logistics operations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all Safety regulations.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician, Maintenance Mechanic, or similar role.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficiency in reading technical manuals and schematics.
  • Knowledge of Safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse setting.
  • Ability to perform moderate physical tasks, including occasional Lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Experience with common warehouse equipment and systems.
  • Certification to operate forklifts or other heavy machinery is a plus.
  • Commitment to wearing required PPE and ensuring others do as well.
  • Understanding of Logistics and supply chain operations.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to maintenance.
