We are seeking a reliable Receiving Clerk for our busy Miami, Florida warehouse. This role is fundamental to our logistics process, ensuring all incoming shipments are handled with precision and care. You will be responsible for unloading trucks, verifying contents against shipping documents, inspecting for damage, and accurately entering received goods into our system. Maintaining a safe and organized receiving dock is paramount. Our company prioritizes a secure work environment, and adherence to all safety regulations, including the use of necessary PPE, is non-negotiable. This position requires physical stamina, including regular lifting, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic setting. Responsibilities:
- Accept and unload incoming deliveries.
- Accurately match received items to purchase orders and invoices.
- Perform visual inspections for any damage to goods or packaging.
- Document all received items in the inventory system.
- Organize and stage incoming inventory for put-away or distribution.
- Keep the receiving area clean, clear, and safe.
- Follow all established safety protocols and use required PPE.
- Communicate any receiving discrepancies or issues to supervisors.
- Support other warehouse functions as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a receiving clerk or similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and PPE usage.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
