About
Our Miami, Florida location is hiring a Shipping Clerk to join our dedicated logistics team. This role is fundamental to ensuring that all outgoing shipments are processed accurately and efficiently, meeting delivery deadlines and customer expectations. You will be responsible for preparing shipments, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining organized shipping records. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and possesses excellent communication skills, thriving in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Key responsibilities include: verifying order details, generating shipping labels and documentation, inspecting packages for accuracy and damage, and scheduling pickups with various shipping companies. This position requires the ability to handle packages, including regular lifting of up to 50 pounds, and the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to guarantee a safe workspace. Safety is our highest priority in all logistics operations. Success in this role also involves: updating shipment statuses in our tracking system, maintaining an orderly shipping area, and communicating effectively with warehouse staff and management. Previous experience with shipping software and familiarity with logistics processes are highly desirable.
