Seeking a meticulous Shipping Clerk to join our logistics team in Denver, Colorado. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that all outgoing shipments are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with all regulations. Your responsibilities will include preparing shipping documents, verifying order details, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining shipping records. You will work closely with warehouse staff to ensure timely dispatch of goods. A strong emphasis is placed on Safety, and you must be knowledgeable about handling procedures and the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE). While this role is primarily administrative, it may involve some light Lifting and moving of packages. This is a key position within our supply chain, requiring excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process all shipping documentation (e.g., bills of lading, shipping labels).
- Verify accuracy of outgoing orders against shipping manifests.
- Schedule and coordinate pickups with various transportation carriers.
- Communicate with internal departments and external partners regarding shipment status.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date shipping records.
- Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and company policies.
- Operate shipping software and equipment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and use PPE when required.
- Assist with light Lifting and movement of packages as needed.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics department.
