Job Summary:
We are hiring an experienced Forklift Operator in Portland, Oregon. In this role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. You will be an integral part of our warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient and safe handling of materials. This position requires precision, a strong understanding of warehouse safety, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Your daily tasks will involve loading and unloading trucks, moving inventory within the facility, and assisting with order fulfillment. Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate forklifts to move pallets, products, and materials.
  • Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
  • Store materials in designated racking systems and warehouse locations.
  • Pick and stage orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Conduct pre-operation checks on forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
  • Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve warehouse goals within the logistics framework.

Qualifications:
  • Valid forklift operator certification/license.
  • Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and procedures.
  • Ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Willingness to wear required PPE.
