About
Our Cincinnati, Ohio location is seeking a skilled Material Handler to support our warehouse operations. This role involves the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the facility, ensuring product availability for production and distribution. You will be responsible for operating various types of material handling equipment, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining organized storage areas. A strong commitment to safety and operational efficiency is essential for success in this position. This is a key role within our logistics chain.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and into storage locations.
- Transport materials to and from various departments within the warehouse.
- Inspect equipment before and after use, reporting any issues.
- Maintain accurate records of material movements.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and procedures.
- Proper use of PPE , including hard hats, safety glasses, and gloves.
- Assist with inventory counts and other warehouse tasks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or operating forklifts is required.
- Valid forklift certification is a plus.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 60 pounds.
- Good knowledge of warehouse operations and material flow.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols for material handling.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
