Job Summary:
Join our expanding logistics team as a skilled Forklift Operator in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This critical role involves the safe and efficient movement of materials within our warehouse. You will operate forklifts to transport, load, and unload goods, ensuring inventory is stored correctly and efficiently. A strong emphasis on Safety is paramount, and all operators must strictly adhere to company guidelines and OSHA standards. This position offers a dynamic work environment where your expertise in material handling is highly valued. You will be responsible for inspecting equipment before use, maintaining organized storage areas, and assisting with inventory management. The ideal candidate possesses excellent attention to detail, a solid understanding of forklift operations, and a commitment to maintaining a safe workplace. This role is key to our supply chain operations.Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently.
  • Transport inventory to and from designated storage areas.
  • Stack and organize goods according to established procedures.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
  • Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
  • Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Collaborate with warehouse team members to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
  • Valid forklift operator certification and proven experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of forklift operation and safety procedures.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including some Lifting.
  • Experience with warehouse logistics and inventory systems is a plus.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
  • Commitment to workplace Safety and proper use of PPE.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
