As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders and then carefully packing those items for shipment. This requires precision, speed, and a strong attention to detail. You will utilize order sheets or handheld scanning devices to locate products, verify quantities, and prepare them for the next stage of the fulfillment process. The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment is essential. We expect our Picker/Packers to be physically capable, as this role involves frequent lifting of items, often weighing up to 50 pounds. Your safety is our top priority, and you must strictly adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including the correct use of provided personal protective equipment (PPE). This role is integral to our logistics operations, ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and accurate order fulfillment. You will work as part of a collaborative team, contributing to the overall success of our distribution center. Responsibilities include: picking items according to pick tickets or electronic lists, accurately packing items into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring correct product and quantity are picked, labeling packages for shipment, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, performing quality checks on orders, and assisting with other warehouse duties as needed.
