Join our fast-paced logistics operation as an Order Picker in Richmond, Virginia! We are looking for motivated individuals to accurately and efficiently pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment. As an Order Picker, you will play a key role in ensuring our customers receive their correct items in a timely manner. This position involves working in a dynamic warehouse environment where accuracy, speed, and safety are essential. You will be responsible for navigating the warehouse, locating specific items, and ensuring they are handled with care. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using a voice-picking system or scanner.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Stage picked orders for quality control and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts as needed.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the warehouse logistics process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is beneficial.
- Ability to read pick lists and follow instructions accurately.
- Proficiency in basic math skills.
- Ability to perform continuous lifting and bending throughout the shift, with items weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Understanding of warehouse safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
