We are seeking a dependable Material Handler to join our warehouse operations in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this physically demanding role, you will be responsible for the movement of materials throughout the warehouse, ensuring a smooth flow of goods. Your tasks will include loading and unloading trucks, organizing inventory, and operating various types of material handling equipment. This is a vital position within our logistics network, contributing directly to the efficiency of our supply chain. We are committed to providing a safe and productive workplace. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery safely and efficiently.
- Stack and arrange materials according to established procedures.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through proper handling.
- Perform routine checks on equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
- Support overall warehouse operations and logistics goals.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is required. Certification for operating forklifts is highly desirable. Ability to perform strenuous physical labor, including lifting up to 60 lbs regularly. Strong understanding of material handling techniques and safety procedures. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment. Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness. A strong commitment to safety is paramount. Familiarity with logistics and supply chain operations is a plus. We offer training on specific equipment and warehouse protocols. This role requires reliability, stamina, and a proactive approach to managing materials.
