About
We are looking for a skilled Forklift Operator to join our busy distribution center in Omaha, Nebraska. This is a critical role in our logistics network, ensuring the efficient and safe movement of materials throughout the warehouse. You will operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. A strong commitment to Safety is non-negotiable, and you must have a proven track record of safe operation, including the consistent use of personal protective equipment (PPE). This position requires expertise in navigating warehouse environments, managing inventory flow, and performing tasks that involve regular Lifting and maneuvering of heavy loads. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other material handling equipment.
- Load and unload goods from trucks and trailers.
- Transport materials to and from designated storage areas.
- Stack and arrange inventory according to warehouse layout and safety standards.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of equipment and report any defects.
- Follow all established safety rules and wear required PPE.
- Assist with inventory control activities, including cycle counting.
- Participate in general warehouse duties as assigned, including occasional manual Lifting.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Ensure the smooth and efficient flow of goods within the logistics operation.
