About
We are actively recruiting Picker/Packers for our busy logistics facility in Seattle, Washington. This role is fundamental to our success, ensuring that orders are accurately assembled and dispatched to our valued customers. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for retrieving items from warehouse storage using RF scanners or pick lists, meticulously checking quantities, and carefully packaging products to prevent damage during transit. You will also prepare shipments by labeling packages and staging them for pickup by shipping carriers. Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment is a top priority, and you will be expected to follow all company safety protocols. Comprehensive training will be provided, covering safe lifting techniques, proper material handling, and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires physical stamina, including the ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift items up to 50 lbs throughout your shift. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses a strong work ethic, and enjoys working as part of a dedicated team. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from assigned locations in the warehouse using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Pack orders with speed and precision, ensuring product safety and presentation.
- Verify order accuracy against item codes and quantities.
- Apply appropriate shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation and warehouse area.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management tasks as assigned.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment safely.
- Contribute to achieving daily operational targets and team goals.
- Report any issues or concerns regarding inventory or safety promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a picking, packing, or warehouse role is a strong asset.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Capacity to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Familiarity with warehouse logistics is a plus.
