Join our expanding logistics team in Las Vegas, Nevada, as a Picker/Packer! We are looking for energetic and reliable individuals to contribute to our fast-paced distribution center. This role is essential for ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders. As a Picker/Packer, your primary duties will involve accurately selecting items from our extensive inventory and meticulously packaging them for shipment. You will utilize advanced scanning technology and follow specific order instructions to ensure precision. Key responsibilities include navigating the warehouse to retrieve specified products, verifying product details and quantities, and ensuring all items are securely packed to prevent damage during transit. You will also be responsible for applying shipping labels, staging orders for outgoing transport, and maintaining a clean and orderly work environment. Safety is paramount; comprehensive training on safe lifting techniques, proper handling of goods, and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided. This role requires physical stamina, including the ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift repeatedly. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick designated items from warehouse shelves using RF scanners.
- Pack orders with care and efficiency, ensuring product integrity.
- Conduct quality checks on items before packing and shipping.
- Label packages correctly and prepare them for courier pickup.
- Maintain an organized and clean workstation and surrounding areas.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and procedures.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment as needed.
- Follow all instructions for the appropriate use of PPE.
- Contribute to meeting team performance goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse operations is a plus.
- Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Basic understanding of inventory and logistics concepts is beneficial.
