The Technical Sales Engineer will balance key account management (50%) with new business development (50%). The successful candidate will manage existing client relationships while identifying and securing opportunities for growth. The role offers hybrid working and is open to full-time or part-time arrangements, providing flexibility for the right candidate.
Technical Sales Engineer - The Role:
Manage and develop relationships with key accounts (approx. 50% of the role). Identify and secure new business opportunities (approx. 50% of the role). Promote and sell control panels and related solutions across a range of sectors. Provide technical expertise to understand customer requirements and recommend suitable solutions. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure accurate specifications and timely delivery. Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs. Attend client meetings, trade shows, and site visits as required.
Technical Sales Engineer - The Person:
Proven sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Technical background, in electrical engineering. Experience with control panels or industrial electrical systems is highly desirable. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated, confident, and able to work independently. Ability to travel locally as needed. Flexible approach to working hours, including part-time arrangements.
Located in Lincolnshire, this role would be commutable from Sleaford, Lincoln, Grantham, Scunthorpe and Market Rasen.
