About The Role We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to join Vertex IT Solutions in a hybrid working capacity. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record within a Managed Service Provider environment, overseeing complex technical projects from inception to completion. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple stakeholders including clients, technical teams, and third‑party vendors. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while maintaining high standards of quality and client satisfaction. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three years of project management experience within an IT Managed Service Provider environment. They should have strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Relevant certifications such as PMP, Prince2, or equivalent are highly desirable. A solid understanding of cloud technologies, networking, virtualization, and related IT infrastructure components will be advantageous. Candidates should demonstrate a proactive approach to problem‑solving, risk management, and stakeholder engagement, with a focus on delivering high‑quality results.
Responsibilities
Manage the full lifecycle of technical projects from initiation through planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring successful delivery aligned with client expectations.
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations to optimize efficiency and meet deadlines.
Coordinate and communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and third‑party vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
Identify potential risks early and implement mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation including risk logs, issues registers, and progress reports.
Ensure all technical handovers, documentation, and invoicing are completed accurately and promptly.
Monitor project performance and quality standards, making adjustments as necessary to meet project objectives.
Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing expectations effectively.
