This will be a remote position and our office is located in Edmonton, Alberta if you'd prefer to work in the office.
You must be legally entitled to work in Canada. Preference will be given to Alberta-based applicants.
This will be a Full Time Permanent Position
Area of Focus: Project Management
At the core of this role:
- You will guide your studio into the successful delivery of courses and project
- You will become a trusted provider to your clients and maintain strong relationships
- You will direct multiple projects to maintain consistent workflow for your team both short and long term
What your responsibilities will be:
- You will manage the scope, budget and schedule of the projects and products
- You will create detailed project plans and design blueprints during the planning stages of the project
- You will manage your teams tasks and milestones
- You will plan for your studio's capacity both short and long term
- Communication You will have frequent and consistent communication with your team and with your clients
- You will provide consistent project reporting to your clients through meetings, status reports and documentation
- You will manage risks, brainstorming mitigation plans and implementing resolutions
- You will manage client requests, feedback and maintaining collaborate in open discussions
- You will triage production bugs
- You will build and maintain the team and client's trust throughout the delivery of each project
Skills and requirements that you should have:
- You have a PMI certification or equivalent project or product portfolio certification
- You have a post-secondary diploma or degree preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered
- Solid understanding of emerging technologies in Project Management, their applications and integration techniques
- You are inspired by the future of education, EdTech, and the possibilities on online learning
- You enjoy problem solving, you're not afraid to try new things, and you learn from successes and challenges
- You enjoy researching, learning, and utilizing the latest technologies and tools available
- You showcase humility and curiosity towards ideas from your team and your clients
- You have a desire to work in a collaborative environment within your studio and your clients
- You thrive in multi-tasking environments while being meticulous with details
- You love communicating
