Job Overview Established Physician owned and operated practice for over 30 YEARS is seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner AND/OR Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team at 24-32 hours a week . FLEXIBLE HOURS/DAYS We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our Endocrinology / Primary Care team. As a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients with endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid conditions, and other hormone-related issues. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives. **ENDOCRINOLOGY EXPERIENCE NOT REQUIRED. WILLING TO TRAIN THE RIGHT CANDIDATE** Sign-on Bonus of $1000 to be paid as follows: $500 at time of acceptance remainder to be paid at 90 days. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive healthcare services and coordinate patient care Assessing and treating patients with endocrinology diseases and conditions Work closely with a team of healthcare professionals Assess, diagnose, and treat residents' physical and mental well-being Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations Order and interpret diagnostic tests Develop accurate diagnoses and treatment plans Prescribe medications Requirements Valid Nurse Practitioner and/or PA license in Massachusetts. Graduation from an accredited master’s level nurse practitioner (FNP, APRN) program, holds required certification, and possesses a Master's degree or higher. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) Active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or be eligible for registration. Active Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment or be eligible to enroll. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in nursing care.
