About
We're seeking enthusiastic Pickers/Packers to join our fulfillment center in Denver, Colorado! In this role, you will be directly involved in fulfilling customer orders with speed and accuracy. Your primary responsibilities include picking items from warehouse shelves based on order sheets, carefully packing products for shipment, and ensuring all orders are accurately prepared for our logistics partners. A commitment to safety is crucial; you'll be expected to follow all guidelines and utilize the required PPE. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick specified items from warehouse inventory according to order slips.
- Inspect picked items for any damage or defects.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently using appropriate packaging materials.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Verify order details to ensure accuracy before sealing and staging.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
- Operate hand-held scanners and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Follow all company safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques and the use of PPE.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and success of our logistics operations.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous picking and packing experience in a warehouse or distribution setting is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Capability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and logistics.
- Willingness to adhere to all safety regulations and wear necessary PPE.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance targets.
- Team-oriented and able to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
