You will be responsible for performing detailed cycle counts, investigating and resolving any inventory discrepancies, managing stock levels, and ensuring precise data entry into our inventory management system. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventories.
- Analyze and resolve discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder points to ensure stock availability.
- Manage stock rotation to optimize product freshness and minimize waste.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry for all inventory movements.
- Identify and report any damaged, expired, or obsolete inventory.
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of warehouse storage areas.
- Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to improve inventory accuracy.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
- Assist in developing and implementing improved inventory control procedures.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
- Previous experience in inventory control or warehouse management is required.
- Proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., WMS).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Solid understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to PPE requirements.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical capability to perform warehouse duties, including occasional lifting up to 35 pounds.
- Reliable and punctual.
