This is a crucial role in our logistics operations, responsible for maintaining the smooth and efficient flow of goods within our facility. You will be involved in various tasks including receiving and inspecting incoming shipments, accurately stocking shelves, picking and packing orders for dispatch, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. We are deeply committed to the safety of our employees and require strict adherence to all safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The position involves regular physical activity, such as standing for long periods and lifting items up to 50 pounds. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory.
- Stock merchandise onto shelves and designated storage areas.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and use required PPE.
- Contribute to team efforts to meet daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is an advantage.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures and wear PPE.
- Basic understanding of logistics concepts is helpful.
