We are looking for a dedicated Fulfillment Associate to join our growing team in Chicago, Illinois. This role is crucial to our e-commerce operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently processed. As a Fulfillment Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks including picking items from shelves, packing them securely for shipment, and preparing orders for dispatch. You will work closely with our inventory management system and collaborate with other warehouse staff to maintain optimal workflow. Safety is paramount in our facility; therefore, strict adherence to all safety regulations and the mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is expected. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from designated locations.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, ensuring product integrity.
- Label and prepare orders for shipping carriers.
- Conduct quality checks on products before packing.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all safety guidelines and use designated PPE at all times.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Support the overall logistics and fulfillment process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a fulfillment or warehouse environment is a plus.
- Capability to perform consistent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Understanding of and compliance with safety standards and PPE requirements.
