Your primary responsibilities will include receiving shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, inspecting for damage, and accurately entering data into our system. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming freight, verifying contents against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies and report any issues immediately.
- Accurately enter receiving data into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Stage received goods for put-away by other warehouse personnel.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area, adhering to all Safety standards.
- Assist with inventory reconciliation and discrepancy resolution.
- Ensure compliance with all company Safety policies and the proper use of PPE.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a Receiving Clerk, warehouse, or logistics role.
- Proficiency in data entry and basic computer skills; experience with WMS is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting, up to 40 lbs.
- Understanding of basic inventory and logistics procedures.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and the correct use of PPE.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
