Your primary duties will involve operating forklifts and other material handling equipment, loading and unloading trucks, and organizing inventory to maximize space and accessibility. Accuracy in handling materials and maintaining inventory records is crucial. You will also be responsible for adhering to strict Safety guidelines, including the use of provided PPE, and ensuring all equipment is operated correctly. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to perform consistent Lifting and moving of heavy items. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Move and stack materials to ensure proper storage.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and use required PPE.
- Inspect equipment for defects before and after use.
- Report any discrepancies or damages immediately.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or forklift operator is required.
- Valid forklift certification is a plus.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 60 pounds.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety practices.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
