Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on warehouse equipment, including conveyor systems, forklifts, and automated machinery.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in a timely manner.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Ensure all equipment is operated in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Work collaboratively with the warehouse team to address any operational or equipment-related concerns.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols, including the use of appropriate PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; vocational training or certification in mechanics or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and the use of PPE.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the role, including occasional Lifting of heavy components.
Safety is our top priority. This role involves regular interaction with machinery, and strict adherence to safety guidelines and the proper use of PPE is mandatory. Experience with industrial maintenance within the logistics field is highly valued.
