About
Become a key member of our logistics team as a Picker/Packer in Detroit, Michigan. This role is essential for ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. You will be responsible for identifying, selecting, and preparing products for shipment, playing a critical part in our operational flow. Maintaining a high standard of workplace Safety is non-negotiable, and all team members are required to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The role requires physical exertion, including frequent Lifting and moving of goods. Your contribution is vital to the efficiency of our Logistics network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items based on order lists or electronic devices.
- Pack items securely to prevent damage during shipping.
- Verify order details to ensure accuracy before dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, adhering to all Safety guidelines.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Operate material handling equipment as required, following all safety protocols.
- Report any issues with inventory, equipment, or Safety to supervisors promptly.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to meet daily productivity targets.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our Logistics operations through diligent work.
- Participate in training sessions focused on improving picking, packing, and Safety procedures.
