About
Join our fast-paced distribution center in Denver, Colorado, as an Order Picker! You will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. This role involves accurately picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment. Success in this position requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a strong work ethic. You will be responsible for navigating the warehouse to locate and retrieve products, using scanning technology to track inventory, and preparing items for transit. A keen understanding of warehouse organization and inventory management is beneficial. We prioritize a secure and healthy work environment, so adherence to all safety guidelines and the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE ) is mandatory. This position involves significant physical activity, including walking, standing for extended periods, and frequent lifting of items up to 40 lbs. As part of our logistics team, you will contribute to the seamless flow of goods and play a vital role in our operational success. Your commitment to accuracy and efficiency will directly impact customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order slips.
- Use RF scanners and other technology to track inventory movements.
- Pack orders carefully and efficiently to ensure product protection during transit.
- Stage orders for shipping, ensuring all items are accounted for.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards.
- Operate pallet jacks and other basic material handling equipment.
- Report any discrepancies or damages to inventory immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily picking and shipping goals.
- Wear all required PPE , including safety shoes and gloves when necessary.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous warehouse or picking experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order forms and labels.
- Proficiency in using hand-held scanners.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs repetitively.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory control principles.
- Commitment to following all safety procedures.
- Willingness to wear and properly use all required PPE .
