Job Summary:
Seeking a certified Forklift Operator for our fast-paced logistics facility in Austin, Texas. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials within our warehouse. This includes loading and unloading trucks, moving inventory to and from storage areas, and staging goods for shipment. You must possess a strong understanding of forklift operation and safety procedures. The ability to work efficiently and accurately in a dynamic environment is key.   • Operate forklifts to move, stack, load, and unload materials within the warehouse.
  • Safely transport goods to and from designated storage areas and shipping/receiving docks.
  • Conduct pre-operational checks on forklifts and report any issues immediately.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and placement.
  • Assist with inventory control and cycle counting as required.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the correct use of PPE.
  • Ensure the work area is kept clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  • Collaborate with warehouse associates and supervisors to ensure efficient logistics flow.
  • Participate in safety training and continuous improvement programs.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid forklift operator certification required.
  • Proven experience operating various types of forklifts in a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
  • Reliable with a strong work ethic.
  • Understanding of general logistics principles.
