Become a vital part of our logistics operations in Detroit, Michigan as a Warehouse Associate! We are looking for reliable and hardworking individuals to join our team. This role encompasses a variety of essential warehouse duties, including receiving and inspecting incoming stock, organizing and stocking inventory, accurately picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments for dispatch. Your commitment to efficiency, accuracy, and Safety is paramount. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of products through our facility and contributing to overall customer satisfaction. Adherence to all company Safety policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is non-negotiable. We encourage a team-oriented approach and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Sort, label, and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick products according to customer orders.
- Pack orders with care, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Prepare finished orders for shipment, including proper labeling and staging.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and Safe work environment.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks).
- Perform required Lifting tasks safely and efficiently.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and basic logistics.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of Safety procedures and the importance of using PPE.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
