Our dynamic facility in Virginia Beach, Virginia is seeking energetic and dependable individuals to fill Picker/Packer positions. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items to fulfill customer orders and meticulously packing them for shipment. Your attention to detail and efficiency will be key to ensuring our customers receive the correct products in excellent condition. This position is vital to our logistics operations, supporting the smooth flow of goods from our warehouse to their final destinations. We prioritize a safe working environment, and all team members are expected to follow strict safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations based on order tickets or digital devices.
- Verify picked items against order specifications.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and warehouse area.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety protocols, including proper Lifting techniques.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Report any damaged or missing items to supervisors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is advantageous.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Capability for regular Lifting of items up to 30 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Familiarity with basic warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to guidelines for PPE usage.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
