About
We are seeking an organized and driven Fulfillment Associate for our Dallas, Texas distribution center. This role is pivotal to our e-commerce operations, focusing on the efficient and accurate processing of customer orders from start to finish. Your responsibilities will include picking items from inventory, meticulously packing them for shipment, and ensuring that orders are prepared according to company standards. We are looking for individuals with a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced logistics operation and gain valuable experience. The position requires physical stamina and the ability to perform frequent lifting and moving of packages. Compliance with all safety regulations and the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order fulfillment lists or scanner data.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure complete and correct orders.
- Select appropriate packing materials to ensure product safety and presentation.
- Pack orders efficiently and neatly, meeting quality and speed standards.
- Label packages correctly for shipping and stage them for carrier pickup.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and potentially forklifts (training may be provided).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, adhering to all warehouse safety protocols.
- Wear and utilize all required PPE correctly throughout the shift.
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily fulfillment goals within the logistics framework.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in e-commerce fulfillment, warehousing, or logistics is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Good physical condition and stamina for standing, walking, and lifting.
- Team player with strong communication skills.
- Dedication to workplace safety and understanding of PPE requirements.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including potential overtime during peak seasons.
