In this role, you will be responsible for picking items from inventory, packing them securely for shipment, and ensuring all orders are processed efficiently and accurately. Your attention to detail is key to maintaining customer satisfaction and minimizing errors in our logistics operations. You will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and must be comfortable performing physical tasks, including lifting and moving packages throughout your shift. Safety is paramount, and adherence to all company safety policies, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is expected. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations based on customer orders.
- Inspect picked items for quality and accuracy.
- Pack orders using appropriate materials to ensure safe transit.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Operate scanning equipment to track inventory movement.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Adhere to all company safety guidelines and the mandatory use of PPE.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned to support the logistics team.
- Assist in receiving or stocking when necessary.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a fulfillment center or warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physical duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently and meet performance targets.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Commitment to following safety procedures and using PPE.
- Basic understanding of warehouse or logistics processes.
