Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Warehouse Technician to join our dynamic logistics team in Houston, Texas. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of warehouse equipment and facilities, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Your expertise will directly contribute to the overall success of our distribution center. This position requires a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, a commitment to safety protocols, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on warehouse machinery, including conveyor systems, forklifts, and automated storage systems.
  • Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Maintain an inventory of spare parts and supplies, ordering replacements as needed.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Adhere to strict safety guidelines, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment.
  • Conduct safety checks on equipment and report any hazards.
  • Support the logistics operations by ensuring all machinery is in optimal working condition.
  • The ability to perform heavy Lifting may be required as part of certain maintenance tasks.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues effectively.
  • Document all maintenance and repair activities in a clear and concise manner.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician or similar role. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics. Excellent problem-solving abilities. Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing priorities. Commitment to upholding high standards of safety and efficiency. Familiarity with safety procedures and the use of PPE is mandatory. This role requires physical stamina and the capacity for Lifting moderate to heavy items.
