Join our dynamic team in Raleigh, North Carolina, as a Picker/Packer! This position is crucial to our daily operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently prepared for shipment. You will be responsible for locating items in our warehouse, verifying quantities, and packing them securely. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to Safety are paramount. This role is a vital link in our logistics chain.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations according to order tickets or scanner.
- Verify item codes and quantities before packing.
- Pack orders using appropriate materials to ensure product safety during transit.
- Operate pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment.
- Maintain an organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse cleanliness.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Properly use all required PPE.
- Perform tasks that include frequent Lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Assist with receiving and restocking as needed.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment environment is desirable.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Physical ability to handle frequent Lifting and bending.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and following instructions.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
