Join our St. Louis, Missouri team as an Order Picker! This role is vital to our warehouse operations, focusing on accurately and efficiently retrieving products for customer orders. As an Order Picker, you will navigate our facility, identify items using order sheets or scanners, and prepare them for packing and shipment. Success in this position requires a keen eye for detail, physical stamina, and a dedication to maintaining a safe work environment. You'll be a key contributor to our logistics success.
Responsibilities:
- Read order forms or use scanning equipment to identify products to be picked.
- Locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelves accurately.
- Ensure correct quantities and product codes are picked.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other equipment as needed.
- Maintain accurate counts and report any discrepancies.
- Adhere to all Safety procedures and guidelines, including the use of PPE.
- Perform tasks involving regular Lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Keep work area clean and organized.
- Collaborate with team members to meet order fulfillment targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order instructions.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform frequent Lifting.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with warehouse logistics and inventory systems is beneficial.
- Commitment to workplace Safety.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
