About
We are hiring a dedicated Warehouse Associate to become a vital part of our operations in Durham, North Carolina. This role is fundamental to managing inventory, fulfilling orders, and maintaining the overall efficiency of our warehouse. You will be involved in various aspects of warehouse management, from receiving goods to preparing them for dispatch. A strong emphasis is placed on maintaining a secure and orderly workspace, ensuring compliance with all Safety guidelines. The use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is essential for all tasks. This position involves regular Lifting and maneuvering of products, contributing directly to our Logistics success. Your adherence to Safety standards is critical.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory with accuracy.
- Pick and pack customer orders efficiently and correctly.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and proficiently (certification may be required).
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in maintaining accurate stock levels.
- Keep the warehouse organized and clean, ensuring aisles are clear and free from obstructions.
- Follow all Safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Assist with shipping and receiving documentation as needed.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or inventory discrepancies to management.
- Contribute to team efforts by collaborating with colleagues to meet operational goals.
- Engage in continuous training and development to improve skills in warehouse operations and Logistics.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, be dependable, and have the physical capability to handle the demands of manual labor, including significant Lifting.
