About
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to oversee and manage the daily operations of our logistics facility in Provo, Utah. This role requires a leader who can ensure efficiency, accuracy, and safety in all warehouse functions, including inventory management, shipping, receiving, and staff supervision. You will be responsible for coordinating workflow, optimizing space utilization, and maintaining a safe working environment for all employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to motivate a team. This is a key position for driving operational success and continuous improvement.Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate all warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to procedures and safety protocols.
- Implement and enforce safety policies, ensuring the correct use of PPE and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows for maximum efficiency and space utilization.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and operational data.
- Coordinate with other departments and external vendors to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Operate material handling equipment as needed.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in a warehouse management or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant workplace, including proper PPE usage.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
