Job Summary:
We are hiring a dedicated Warehouse Associate for our facility in Madison, Wisconsin. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our distribution center, ensuring that inventory is managed efficiently and accurately. Your responsibilities will include receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. This position demands a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to handle physical tasks.   • Receive, unpack, and verify incoming merchandise against purchase orders.
  • Store inventory in designated locations, maintaining organization and accuracy.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
  • Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, as needed.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and cycle counts.
  • Ensure all workstations and the warehouse environment are kept clean and safe.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, particularly regarding safety and the use of PPE.
  • Assist in loading and unloading trucks.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior warehouse experience is highly desirable.
  • Ability to perform manual labor, including frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to safety procedures and knowledge of proper PPE usage.
  • Understanding of logistics operations and supply chain best practices.
