Job Summary:

The Receiving Clerk will be responsible for accurately checking in all deliveries, verifying quantities against purchase orders, inspecting for damages, and properly documenting all received items. You will ensure that all products are correctly identified and staged for distribution or storage, contributing to the integrity of our inventory. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and inspect all incoming shipments.
  • Verify quantities and item numbers against purchase orders and shipping manifests.
  • Document all discrepancies, damages, or shortages immediately.
  • Tag and label received goods accurately.
  • Stage incoming products for put-away or processing.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly receiving area.
  • Adhere to all Safety guidelines and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Utilize scanning equipment and computer systems to record incoming inventory.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers, drivers, and internal departments regarding deliveries.
  • Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed, supporting our logistics operations.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in receiving, inventory control, or logistics preferred.
  • Ability to perform moderate Lifting of packages, up to 30 pounds.
  • Proficiency in using scanning devices and basic computer skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Understanding of warehouse Safety best practices.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
