About The Role

You will get fast feedback from our users and iterate quickly (we update the backend multiple times a week). You will follow usage data and make data‑driven decisions.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (e.g., product, front‑end) to help design and deliver seamless user experiences.
You will optimize existing endpoints, driving down latency and ensuring we can continue to scale to ever greater usages.
About You
5+ years of experience in backend development with Django and Django Rest Framework.
Experience working with a relational database at scale, designing schemas, optimizing Django queries, and running migrations with minimal downtime.
Hands‑on experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL database larger than 100 GB.
Experience designing endpoints in direct collaboration with front‑end engineers, delivering both Open API and developer manuals/supporting documentation.
Pragmatic orientation: favor speed of iteration over perfection, leveraging frameworks and libraries to avoid reinventing the wheel.
Strong sense of ownership. Takes initiative and is at ease making product & technical decisions.
Fluent in English (French is not required!).
If you think you have what it takes but don’t meet every single point above, please still apply. We’d love to chat and see if you could be a great fit.
