Job Description Sales Engineer – Overhead Cranes
We are working with a well-established UK lifting solutions business that designs, supplies and supports overhead crane systems for a wide range of industries. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Sales Engineer to develop and manage customer relationships across the Midlands and South East, with some UK-wide travel as required. This is a consultative, solutions‑led sales role, well suited to someone with an engineering background who enjoys working closely with customers to solve lifting and material handling challenges.
Responsibilities
Selling overhead crane systems and associated lifting solutions into a broad mix of industrial environments
Managing and developing an existing customer base while identifying and converting new business opportunities
Working closely with customers to understand their operational needs and propose technically appropriate solutions
Producing quotations, proposals and supporting technical documentation
Liaising with internal engineering, project and service teams to ensure smooth delivery from enquiry through to installation
Attending site visits, surveys and customer meetings across your territory
Territory Primary focus on the Midlands and South East of England
