About
Our St. Louis, Missouri distribution center is seeking a dedicated Material Handler. This role is foundational to our logistics operations, ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods throughout the warehouse. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials, utilizing various equipment to transport items. A strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment are essential. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, organized, and capable of performing physical tasks, including significant Lifting. Proper training on equipment operation and safety protocols, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), will be provided. You will play a key role in inventory management, stock rotation, and ensuring that materials are readily available for order fulfillment. Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and store incoming materials and products.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Assist with inventory counts and accuracy checks.
- Prepare materials for shipment and loading.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company Safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE.
