We are looking for a dedicated Picker/Packer to join our dynamic team in Raleigh, North Carolina. This role is central to our order fulfillment process, ensuring that customer orders are accurately picked from inventory and carefully packed for shipment. You will play a key part in maintaining customer satisfaction by delivering quality products efficiently. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, works well under pressure, and is committed to upholding high standards of productivity and safety within our logistics operations. This position requires physical dexterity and a focus on accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order requirements.
- Inspect items for damage and ensure correct quantities are picked.
- Pack picked items securely into boxes or other shipping containers.
- Apply shipping labels and ensure all necessary documentation is attached.
- Stage packed orders for carrier pick-up.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Operate manual and powered equipment, such as pallet jacks, as needed.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock replenishment.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and success of our logistics and fulfillment operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse work is beneficial.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Good manual dexterity and ability to work efficiently.
- Understanding of basic warehouse and logistics procedures.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.
