Job Summary:
Are you an experienced Material Handler looking for a new opportunity in Omaha, Nebraska? Our logistics company is expanding and needs skilled individuals to manage the flow of goods within our distribution center. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products. This role is critical to maintaining efficient warehouse operations and ensuring that inventory is organized and accessible. You will operate various material handling equipment, load and unload trucks, and assist with inventory counts. We prioritize a safe work environment, and adherence to all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE, is mandatory.   • Receive, unload, and store incoming materials and products.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
  • Prepare materials for shipment, including picking, staging, and loading.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in maintaining accurate records.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all company policies and safety procedures, including proper use of PPE.
  • Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment, with certification if required.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
  • Capability for frequent lifting of up to 60 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and following all safety protocols.
  • Experience using RF scanners is beneficial.
  • Ability to wear required PPE.
