Join our growing team as a Distribution Center Associate in Richmond, Virginia. In this versatile role, you will be involved in various aspects of our warehouse operations, contributing to the efficient movement and storage of goods. Your responsibilities may include receiving inventory, stocking shelves, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments for outbound delivery. You will work within a team-oriented environment, utilizing warehouse equipment and technology to ensure accuracy and productivity. A strong focus on safety, efficiency, and teamwork is essential. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory.
- Stock shelves and organize inventory in designated locations.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using pick lists or scanners.
- Pack orders securely for shipment.
- Prepare shipments for outbound delivery and label appropriately.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other basic warehouse equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stocktaking.
- Requires the ability to perform lifting of items up to 45 pounds as needed.
Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not required. Ability to follow directions and work effectively in a team. Basic reading and math skills. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. A strong emphasis on safety in all logistics operations is required.
