Job Summary:
We are looking for a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Provo, Utah. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our inventory data, which is critical for our logistics and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, exceptional organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will be responsible for conducting cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, and implementing strategies to optimize inventory levels. Maintaining a precise record of stock is essential for efficient order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure data accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Implement and monitor inventory control procedures to minimize shrinkage and obsolescence.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and recommend adjustments.
  • Coordinate with procurement and operations teams to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory to optimize space utilization.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Assist in the training of new staff on inventory control procedures.
  • Support logistics and shipping departments with accurate inventory information.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or higher in a relevant field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or a related warehouse role.
  • Proficiency in using WMS and other inventory management software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including moderate Lifting, as needed.
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures in a warehouse environment.
